HOW TO BE LOCATIONALLY INDEPENDENT AS A MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER
Feb 08, 2021I'm in a new location today... because I spend the last couple of weeks doing an interstate move!
It was stressful in EVERY way except one.
The movers were two days late... which put us right into the blizzard that hit the north east last weekend.
We had to move 1,000lbs of gym equipment in two feet of snow.
I had to navigate the NJ Turnpike in a blizzard at 2am.
The only thing in my life that was stable was my business.
That's because I use an online group coaching program model - the same model I teach mental health providers to use to make more impact and income while reducing their clinical hours.
Here's how that helped me as I moved:
- It's 100% online and non-clinical, with no state restrictions on practicing, so I kept 100% of my clients
- I only need to show up at a certain time for two coaching calls per week, and the rest of my time is flexible so I could show-up fully for my family and still serve my group seamlessly
- I have a working model for acquiring new clients that involves about an hour per day of work, so I still brought in a new client and made several thousand dollars in revenue while hardly being at my desk at all
I explain more in today's video
