I regularly hear from therapists and consultants who are looking to make a change from 1-2-1 therapy and are interested in opportunities to work in the business world.
There's a great way to do this and a more difficult way (which still works, it's just more difficult).
The difficult way is to network with executives at different companies and win ad-hoc consulting contracts for to help them with your skills and your talent in a way that is customized to that particular company.
Why is this difficult?
Because you're constantly having to balance delivering the ad-hoc consulting work you agreed to and scouting for your next client. Otherwise your consulting business is just another feast/famine situation. The issue with doing all ad-hoc consulting work during the day and scouting for new business during your free time is that you'll soon begin to feel as burned out as you did in 1-2-1 therapy.
There is an easier way. A way that maximizes your flexiblity and your free time while allowing you to deliver the best possible results to your clients, without all the hustle and grind.
I describe it in today's video...
