Therapists: If your clients aren’t getting results, they may need to give you more money.

a.k.a You can lead a horse to water and you CAN make it drink!
You know the kind of client who comes to your office and likes to play with the idea of change but never actually implements any of your suggestions?
I’m sure you’ve seen plenty in your career.
Especially among those who only pay a $20 copay to see you.
If so, my friends experience with the success rate in her group is something you’ll want to hear about.
In her eyes the first 300 clients she worked with were, for the most part, a failure. She worked with them for some time, and they gave her sweet testimonials and even referrals.... but only a few people REALLY got the results she advertised.
She was making some money but inside she felt like a massive fraud and she doubted her ability to help her clients get real results.
Then, on the advice of a mentor she made three simple tweaks that changed her results overnight.
She raised her rates more than 300%.
She began charging a flat fee for a program instead being paid per session.
And instead of working 1-2-1, she put her clients into an online group coaching program where they all shared the same group calls and the same online community.
When she did this her success rate went from almost zero to almost everyone who worked with her!
Why?
Because by charging several thousand dollars to work with her for 3 months, and then even more to continue for a full year, her clients had serious skin in the game.
They felt that they had to take the suggestions she gave. Not taking them was clearly a stupid decision because they had completely bought in financially. They did everything like their lives depended on it, because otherwise they would’ve just wasted thousands of dollars on her program!
And by putting her clients in a shared group energy, they were held accountable and motivated by each others’ progress and each other’s results.
Success bred more success.
Her fee became a filter for clients who would’ve wasted her time.
Her clients’ results became a magnet for others who were committed to getting the same in their lives.
What seemed like a counterintuitive decision turned out to be the best move she’d ever made.
And it made her more money, in less time, than her one to one work ever could.
Since then she’s never looked back.
In fact, five years after making this decision she built an international following and her groups, books and programs made her over $10,000,000 in 2019.
If you’re not currently running coaching groups with clients who are paying you upfront, out of pocket, I have a short video series you should look at to help you figure out if it’s right for your practice.
It might change your career, and your life.
